Some of the most forgotten items on a camping checklist are extra batteries or a charger, whisk broom, adhesive tape, garbage bags, ziplock bags, extra footwear, extra towels, band-aids and other first aid items, matches, axe, aluminum foil, paper towels, some kind of kindling and deodorant. It's a good idea to bring lots of extra plastic bags of all sizes as they come in very handy throughout the camping trip. You should also bring plenty of newspapers for kindling.

Checklists aren't only for items to bring. You may also want to create a checklist for things to do before you leave. Here are some things you may want to do before leaving for the camping trip.
